(file photo)The Roosevelt Skerrit led administration has received $US1.4 million dollars which is the first portion for the construction of forty-one new houses for the Kalinago territory.Housing Minister Reginald Austrie says the project which is being funded by the Chinese Government could begin in November of this year.“Eight sites were initially identified but there is tremendous infrastructural work to be done so we are focusing on four sites for the time being,” he said.Austrie said in the first instance, four houses will be done in Salybia, five in Bataka, two in Concord and four in Mahaut River.“The tendering documents have gone out and we are hoping to receive them back in two week.
